"Leaving A Legacy--BALANCE--Working Inside & Outside the Home"

Looking at what the Bible has to say about women/wives/moms working, partnering with unbelievers, talent, and judging others...

Leader:  Rebecca Corrigan.

About Becky:  "I was raised in the Lutheran church, but didn't make a firm commitment to God until I was in my early university days.  I graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 and completed my Master's in Veterinary Epidemiology in 2005.  I'm currently a partner in a small animal veterinary clinic in Saskatoon. I'm married and have two young girls. My passions include outreach and world missions. I'm currently on the board for Christian Veterinary Missions of Canada and had the opportunity to travel to Kenya and Tanzania during my third year of vet med. I am a member of Saskatoon Free Methodist Church and am involved in Worship and Children's Ministries."

"Living a Healthy Legacy"

Discussing what it means to live healthy, how that not affects only you but others, how to stay motivated (or get motivated).  A before and after example of improving healthy habits will be given and an invitation to go for an early am jog/walk Sunday morning!

Leader: Sherry Cornish

About Sherry:  "I came to the Lord in my late teens after attending the Glaslyn Pentecostal Church youth group where God really spoke to my heart.  I am a wife and mother of two beautiful girls.  I work outside the home part-time at Saskatoon Home Care and casually at Oliver Lodge as a special care aide. I am a member of the Saskatoon Free Methodist Church and am currently involved in the children’s ministry and previous to that helped lead the youth group with my husband for about 6 years. The best way to describe me is an ordinary woman with an extraordinary God!"

Title: "Leaving a Legacy of Prayer"

Leader: Wilda Camplin

About Wilda:

Title: "Leaving - and Truly Believing - in a Legacy of Unconditional Love"

Talking about schools, teaching and poverty and loving the "seemingly unlovable." It will also cover sowing seeds for Christ even though we may not be the ones to see the harvest.

Leader:  Cheryl Kardynal

About Cheryl:  "Cheryl was born into a Christian family in Regina and has a B.Ed from the U of R.  City girl or not, she once swore she'd never teach in a city. She was sure she was meant to find some farmer, have babies, and teach in a very small school snuggled in the middle of a tiny town. God lead her to the small town - two of them, in fact - and let her feel what it was like to be "off the path". It sucked. After years of struggling with feeling ignored by God, He placed her exactly where she didn't think she was supposed to be. This year is Cheryl's third year working at a High School in Regina's infamous "North Central" (insert cheezy "Jaws" music here). At 29, she doesn't have a husband or children of her own, but drop in to see her Monday-Friday and you'll see she's been blessed with 60+ kids. Few people would consider 60+ teenagers a BLESSING, but they are. They've shown her and allowed her to understand what "being and seeing Jesus" really means. We'll be working through walking away from "Sunday-school sentimentality" and looking at Jesus' example of being among those who needed Him."
